Tonight the NFL released the regular season schedules of every team for the upcoming 2013-14 season. Not only does this give fans a chance to predict the outcome of games, locate tickets, and gear up for that special rivalry match up but it gives myself a chance to point out some key factors, and highlight the most important games this upcoming season for Big Blue.

Here are some key observations of the 2013-14 Schedule:

-NYG has one of the toughest schedules going into the 2013-14 season (As you see at the top ESPN Giants beat writer Ohm Youngmisuk tweeted the same observation)

-5 prime-time (Nationally Televised) games for the G-Men

-Week 9 Bye (Most teams wish they had that, middle of the long season)

-2 of the Giants last 5 games are NFC East Division games (Both Washington Redskins)

Now here is the 2013-14 New York Giants schedule:

The most Impactful games of the 2013-14 Season:

1.) All of the NFC East games- The Giants call the toughest division in the league home. With the Redskins, Cowboys, and even the Eagles always giving them grief at some point in their seasons they are all impact games. And knowing this division there is always two teams left fighting for that playoff spot. We could be seeing that match up Week 17 as the Giants host sensational QB Robert Griffin III & his Washington Redskins to end the regular season.

2.) The Manning Bowl III- The third match up between the QB Eli Manning, and his big brother Peyton. Big brother Peyton & his Broncos will visit Metlife Stadium on September 15th, at 4:25 pm with more wins in their head to head matchup (2 to Eli's 0), and a pretty lethal passing attack having added slot machine Wes Welker formerly of the Patriots to his already talented arsenal. However this is a more refined, and seasoned Eli at QB that the Broncos defense will see, with a lethal attack of his own headlined by Hakeem Nicks, & Victor Cruz. Looks like "Papa Bear" Archie Manning will be in NYC this September mulling over which son he'll cheer for. Oh, and it WILL be the game of the week.

3.) Cheese Heads Galore- Week 11 of the 2013-14 season, the Packers visit the Giants in a always hotly contested NFC match up. The Packers however have fallen to the Giants the last 2 times they have played, one match up being in the playoffs. This will be a big game, and the fact that it's in the second half of the season means the wins get more crucial going towards the playoff race. And with the NFC East always being competitive the Giants will need every win they can get. Not such an easy task however with Aaron Rodgers being the QB of the opposing team, but the G-Men have their ways of dealing with him. Can they continue those ways?

4.) Fresh Faced Contenders- Week 15 the Giants will host the heavily talented Seattle Seahawks in a very important NFC match up. This off season the Seahawks have mad major moves which has analyst shouting Super Bowl contender already. Now not only will two talented teams be squaring off, but it's late in the year which gives both teams big time playoff practice. Not to mention we could be seeing the Giants in a tight divisional race for the NFC East crown which makes every win/loss so crucial. Should be a very physical, and entertaining game for the fans.

So we've seen the schedule, and all that's left is the waiting game. However fear not fellow NFL fans football will be back sooner than you think. And yes folks this season I will again be covering New York Giants football. The first game will be @ the Dallas Cowboys, at 8:30 pm on NBC. Should be a fun ride along the way!
